Erich - Awesome! I'm not all that high on riding a bike LOL I'd much rather go for runs. Almost 50?!?!?! (no comment  :D ) I started soccer when I was about nine, then didn't play again till this year for my school team. Now it's almost every day...it's like a drug! LOL

Brad - University of Calgary! woo hoo!

I'm not even going to ask your age......son ! :D

yep besides Martin and Bill and myslef I think we constitute the Pops league here on the forums.

Yes I started in mid-high(junior high)with soccer and went from their. My son followed suit as he was in football and said screw it and then fell in love with soccer after I showed him some world cup flicks.....he got the bug real quick and played center-field and loved every minute of it as he did not have the speed, but boy could he defend !
Keep at it and you'll have legs like a redwood tree, besides just running the legs off everyone else and being a stud .
Can imagine what's in store for me in /august with nr. 50 coming up way too fast !!!!

    Erich -

    a) I'd be a daughter lol
    and
    b) I'll be 18 in all of 72 days (September 10th) Not that I'm counting or anything like that  :D

Once I get my pictures developed I'll post some of our little scrimages... then you can decide if my legs are like redwoods (they're actually quite skinny, but all muscle)

    nice sig mein Sohn ! ;) 18 ?

give it time, those legs will develop into monuments of steel, and don't forget the advil after a long scrimmage/game. One of the reasons even at my age I ride till my butt feels like it will fall off. Too many good friends have gone by the wayside and let their selves go physically.....sad as they have no excuse with their 300,000 + a year jobs.....too much behind desk/computer.

Yes I'd be happy to view U guyz in action as well......

Yea good luck at university. Personally I hate soccer I can't stand it, the only time I play it is with some friends and its only a kick around, nothing serious. I used to play Rugby but then i dislocated my shoulder so that sucked lol.

I know how you feel Jet.

I wrecked my shoulder two years ago:
torn rotator, second degree separation, tip of my collar bone broken off...the works.
Now the tip of my collar bone has splintered and worked its way into all the tissue around it...so surgery is on it's way. I go see the surgeon again on July 15th and then get a lovely MRI...bleh

Cool, I am older than Elle Ducette, at least I am older than someone! I never play football outside of the school playground (ahh, those were the days, 180 sweating little boys chasing around a playground half the sixe of a proper pitch after a tiney little football). Rugby is more my game, womens rugby of course, well worth watching, hillarious and fun to play :D .

I think if Duce is going to get some photos up we really should get some up ourselves, names to faces and all that...

That'd be a great idea....put a face to the names we know rather than just the avatars.

honestly we could put our pics on our profile if we wanted to instead of some general or such.

I think that photos on the profiles are an excellent idea.

Maybe Peppy can be persuaded to deal with the sudden in-rush of photos from people that that don't have homepages. [IMG]

Where's the fun in that Erich? Besides, it would take alot of mouse clicking to check everyone's profile...and I quite enjoy the picture I have there already (A painting by Robert Blake)
and if it means that much to you, I'll be one of the first to post my picture....Stefan's got me beat because that's him in his avatar as far as I understand...so I'll be one of the first ones...

Duce as an old dude I'll be the first to admit I've had a deal of problem trying to posts images here on the forums or yet figure out how to do it. I'd probably scare the crap out of everyone if U all knew what I really looked like, but maybe after my 50th I'll get soft and do so for everyones pleasure or for a good belly laugh [IMG] :D

how's an Arnold Schwarzenegger pose ?

Well in order to get an image on ones profile, one will need to get the image online and post a URL, hence I think one might as well put it on the thread as well.

Just may do that Duce.....but I have seriously thought about a private web-page where I can access the many images in my data files nearly all WW 2 as well as some bizarre personals like myself dressed up in King Henry garb. That could be a wild shot. I'll exclude my blond hair wife as she looks too sexxxxxxxxxxxxy in that maroon/black velvet dress.

anyway back on topic, yes maybe a nice scenic shot of myself this August on some Mtn top in the California Sierra, that way U guys will know what or who I am in my natural state ... ;)
