Amazed that Lewis won, really thought McLaren had stuffed up.
Seems that Heikki is the best No2 since Eddie Irvine to Schummi.
If Lewis gets Championship this year I hope they give Heikki a shot next season.
McLaren lie if they say they give both drivers an equal chance.
Move over Heikki in two races now.
Massa up his place to Lewis without a fight, what a pushover.

I read that Heikki spent two hours after the race in his room going through the race in his mind. I guess he was trying to calm down the rage inside.

( Furious ) Kimi pushed a little kid to the ground when leaving the competition ground... :( But I heard later on that Mika Häkkinen gave his cap to the little child which probably was even better than a signature from Kimi.

OK, OK, it's certainly not F1 - but I managed to get down to Brands Hatch last week for the FIA World Touring Car race. At least I could get up close to the cars ( some of which looked just a little bit like my own road car ! ;))...

...plus the fact that dear old Brands Hatch ( where I first went in 1969 !) hasn't been ruined beyond all recognition.

And the racing was certainly close and spectacular, especially the lap when three cars battling for third place came into Paddock Hill Bend ( a 100mph+ downhill right-hander ) three abreast - with no-one giving way.....

Now - I'll offer a prize if anyone can tell me the last time three F1 cars, racing hard, went into - through - and out of a bend alongside each other......:)

Good day for McLaren. Pole position for Hamilton and second place for Kovalainen. Could be their race tomorrow, Ferrari seems to have a whole lot of trouble.

Well done to Kovalainen - he adds his name to an illustrious group of GP-winning Finns. I hope that Kai-Petri won't mind me saying this : but it's amazing the impact on F1 which such a small country has had ( and yes, I remember seeing Keke Rosberg scoring his first-ever F1 victory... )

I'm proudly wearing my Heikki t-shirt I bought at Silverstone.
I think I'm one of the few British fans who doesn't support Lewis.

    Go Heikki!!!!

    BTW,

Heikki was also the 100th driver in the F1 to win a race.

Now the biggest pressure should be off his shoulders and hopefully more victories will come. I heard Ron Dennis say to Heikki in the team radio that this was "first of the many" he will win. I think Flavio will be disgusted with himself...and should be!

Race of Europe was bland but it always nice to see a new race track, well done Massa and LH claiming second.

Massa did well, and Kovalainen went past Kimi in the start. Kimi not very convincing although still has a possibility to win the championship but must do alot better soon.
I guess Kimi will soon be the No 2 driver in the Ferrari team.

Word has it if Kimi Raikkonen dose not pull up his socks not only would he loose his No.1 status with Ferrari to Felipe Massa but could face the chop at the end of the season.

This may indeed make Kimmi wake up and smell the air.

Look who I saw at Brand's Hatch today at the DTM race.
Some chap was showing off his F1 car.
Some of you might know who he is... ;)
I shook his Dad's hand too.
Then this chap got on a moped.
I did ask Norbert for a photo, he gladly posed for me but photo was ruined by someone's head getting in the way. :(
