I think Red Sox Nation is everywhere. I go to minor league games a bit down here seeing the Charlotte Knights the two games where the swarms come out for are the scranton yanks and pawtucket sox
As we move into the second half of the season, it is remarkable to note that the Sox and Yankees have the 2nd and 3rd best records, respectively, in all of Major League Baseball, trailing only the Dodgers. When you consider that the Rays have the 9th best record overall, there is no doubt that the AL East represents the best baseball on the planet!
I would just like to take a moment out of this Red Sox thread to say........ Shame on Cubs fans! I don't care how bad your getting beat, you don't throw beer at the players! Also, a good job to those fans that pointed out the culprit to security.
Posted up an interesting thread about a WWII vet singing at Fenway park: http://www.ww2f.com/wwii-today/34614-wwii-vet-sing-fenway-park.html#post421219
Gonna hijack this thread again to say way to go Pedro! 130 pitches, and still hitting 90 MPH fastball's. His control was still there at the end of the game (minus his last change-up). 8 inning's but he probably could have finished the game if it wasnt just one run. The phillies are 7-0 when Pedro starts, who woulda thunk it?
