No way! A cool looking C/E button too! Man I gotta get one of those fancy schmancy key boards now! What else does it have? I've been looking for one with the cent sign, you know, the little c with the slash directly through it from top to bottom. Need that one to make cool looking cuss word C letter substitutes.

Brexit resembles the 'Barbarossa' – there was no plan B. Boris ’von Brautschich’ conceived his campaign at the east in anticipation of just the most favorable outcome, except, paradoxically, his secretly desired outcome was failure of Brexit, not the opposite.

Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish cause from consequences. What was first: egg or chicken, both at the same time perhaps. Nevertheless, here we have something I have never expected to occur in England.

New York Times: After ‘Brexit’ Vote, Immigrants Feel a Town Turn Against Them

My wife said often I was a naive fool. Perhaps she is right. Now, someone tell me that Britons went to war to save Poland. Then I will have the full right to say: You're a naive fool. All of them were the same.

    Tamino,

It's very real I'm afraid, here's a US Citizen being verbally abused in Manchester in the tram

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gMVYQaJPx0s

And this broke my heart, a German lady who has lived here since the 70s too terrified to leave her house. Her deceased husband was a British General Practitioner. The bulk of the abuse she is receiving is from her middle class pensioner neighbours. She called the radio station out of utter desperation.

    Mutley,

I'm glad to hearing from you again. I have understanding for anxiety created by the present day migrations - simply, there are too many new Europeans who would like to solve their financial problems by simply relocating to West. On our highways I can see every day a flood of migrant workers flowing from Rumania towards Italy, France, Spain and probably towards UK too. The problem of Europe is in enormous gap in social, cultural and financial development. Unfortunately - people tend to move towards larger pile of money. What freightens me is possible 'Anschluß' of Ukraine. Migrationtrends would render EU unbearable.

But, sometimes I have an opportunity to take a closer look to these poor people at petrol stations. They are poor but it is a sin to name them 'vermin'. They differ from other people just by their poverty.

    I'm feeling a tad ignored here ...

The title twice states GB, the referendum was UK-wide (with various other contributors).

.The comment for the above cartoon states
    but depicts GB.

The least you chaps could do was actually recognise that NI was a participant in this referendum and as far as I can tell - living here as I am - it still is part of the UK.

At what point do you plan to learn the difference between the United Kingdom and England, or do you plan to be an ignoramus all your life?

The cartoon kinda reminded me of something said about Serbia before the Great War, that it ought to be carved out of Europe and allowed to sink in the Ocean. Just saying :)

Americans have been getting dog's abuse from the British Left since the '60s, usually the same media lapdogs who are now choosing to highlight it as "racial abuse" despite doing it themselves down the pub with their mates.

The cartoon depicts the futuristic vision of UK - without the NI. Meanwhile, NI had sucessful NI-exit followed by an 'Anschluß' to Republic of Ireland. In future world, the largest island between Ireland and France would be Isle of Man.

At which point do you plan to learn that Boston is situated in Lincolnshire, England?
And do you plan to be an ignoramus all your life.
And do you think that anyone on the planet should learn in Primary One Class all these unimportant geographic details about a little island situated between Ireland and Europe?

    Just curious:

If the UK is full of ignorant fools for leaving the EU, why would the EU want to be associated with such ignorant fools in the first place? And why get worked up over the UK dissociating from them? Seems to me that you'd want to get rid of the "morons" from your organization, not fight to keep them in....

Yet, there is a little difference - Britons are sinking the UK voluntarily. ;)

First of all, I have never stated that 'the UK is full of ignorant fools'. Do not put your words in my mouth. Understood?

I wasn't aware that YouTube had a leftist agenda. Media has no need to highlight it, the police statistics speak for themselves. A 42% rise in reported race hate incidents since the Brexit vote. And that just covers those brave enough to come forward and report it. I've been subject to it myself having not been in that position since the 90s and my sister has had two incidences since the vote, the latest just last week in the hospital she works at in the lift by two elderly patients.

Regardless, we are all stuck in political limbo. I believe there are 20 MPs now threatening to breakaway from the Tory party if Brexit supporter Andrea Leadsom is elected their new leader to replace Cameron. So the Tories would loose their slim majority in the Houses of Parliament. So even if every MP left on the Tory side was a Brexit supporter, they might loose the majority to pass the legislation to trigger Article 50. And the other main party, Labour, appears to also be on the verge of splitting. So no idea what way they will vote on Article 50. The political landscape is changing on a daily basis and the public is left wondering what on earth is going on and what is the future.
