Hi there. My name in Can. I am living working in Istanbul Turkey. Military history is a special hobby of mine but my exact interest is WW2. Actually I became a member of these boards a few years ago but haven't posted anything for a long long time. And I havent't introduced myself then. Sorry for inconsideration.....

And sorry for the grammar mistakes. English is not my native language.

Welcome Can, glad you decided to talk to us. We thought you didn't like us.

Don't worry about your English. If we can understand Urqh, we should have no problems with you... and he is British.

Hi Can. Glad you could join us. Don't worry about your English. It certainly beats any foreign language I can speak.

Welcome, Can. I'm glad you decided to start posting. Yours should be a unique perspective, I think.

Merhaba Can. Welcome to the forum. I spend quite a few hollidays in Turkey.
Alanya, Marmaris, Kusadasi, Antalya, Bodrum, all nice beach hollidays. Also saw Pammukale and took a tour to Capadocia.
    Very nice.

"Merhaba" ( cheers , hi , hello in Turkish ) would be more approprite. :) Salaam Alleikum is Arabic. Only religiously conservatives use it for greeting in here.
