Hi Everybody, My name is Michael. I’m a 26 years old student of electrical engineering from southern Germany. In my spare time I however usually don’t solder many electronic circuits. Rather I’m researching the events during the last weeks of WWII in the area south of the Danube River where I live. During the last days of April 1945 the 12th Armored Division was heavily involved in in the capture of numerous villages and towns in the vicinity of Dillingen, Germany. Since my hometown also was captured by the 12th during that time, I’ve developed a brisk interest in this particular Division, and even joined the 12th Armored Division Association. By joining this forum I hope to learn more about the US military during WWII. Best regards, Michael
