    Hello all,

My uncle and I are doing some research into my grandfather's service history, and we have discovered that he was noted as a "dietitian." (He served in a combat command in a tank destroyer battalion [628TD] in Europe.) We are unclear as to whether this was a nominal designation, or if it is a fancy way of saying "cook."

I'd appreciate any help. Thank you! :smirk:
