Hi T.A.Gardner, No, complete wrong direction! An advice, the country of origin its a bit more in the South. Regards Ulrich
It does look like a Blemheim on floats and even the paint scheme looks like the pic I know, but AFAIK the Canadian conversion was called Bolingbroke III not IV. Possibly the Australians attempted something like it but it would more likely be based on the Beaufort not the Blemheim. Mistery plane for now. View attachment 13191
Uuups, sorry T.A. Gardner it was the Bolingbroke!!! I have to admit that i named the pic wrong. It wasn´t a Blenheim I from Australia ( the Bolinbroke based on the Type I ) You were completely correct!!! SORRY again for my mistake! Now its your turn. Regards Ulrich
Looks a bit like the Polikarpov I-180/185 but not exactly the same. Probably not Roumanian or Yougoslav as their fighter planes had a somewhat different design.
Had a look at Polikarpov, Chu, D.A.I. and so on but didn´t find anything That thing makes me $§***** Regards a frustrated Ulrich
The front part around the engine reminds me on a Polikarpov I-15 the rest is like a JAK 11. Mmmh I am searching!
Thanks a lot but i´ve looked at min. 1000 websites ( ok some less) and couldn´t find it. The Yak 11 was the closest one. I GIVE UP!!!:-(( Regards Ulrich
