Ah, now I know what you meant. As me 262 pointed out later, it had almost all the fuel removed. But not all. Maybe enough fuel to drive back to airfield?

"A rough field near the airfield" could just as well mean a pasture next to the airstrip. The crew could then just push it there. :D

SIPA S.200 Minijet- A French aircraft desiged as abasic trainer/liason aircraft first flown in Feb. 1952. A pre-series of five aircraft was reportedly under construction, one of which was intended for the Argentine government. and it was rumored that Koolhoven plant in Holland would manufacture it under license , but here'ss another aircraft that did not progress behind the prototype stage

Welcome to the forum, Balck Jack. A good start is a good start, I don't know this one. :D

By the way, I removed the other topic you made in which the same picture was presented as a quiz. No need to ask the same question twice!

    A jet-propelled pod & boom biplane!
Now that is an unusual aircraft!
From the overall look I'd have said USSR/Warsaw Pact. Because it is Bl@ck J@ck I'd say it was Polish ;) ...

    Yessss...
    It's Polish PZL M-15!
The M-15 was designe by PZL Mielec to relieve the
aged Russian Antonov An2 in the cropduster role.
    Because it's special
design, the combination of a jet engine and biplanes,
the Belphegor was able to carry five times the load
    of a than-common cropduster.
