There were 11 hurricanes listed on wiki as flying condition- so I went through them to make sure none had recently crashed- to see how up to date/accurate the Wiki was and it seems to be up to date the Hurricane above XP-L does not seem to be mentioned, it can be difficult to keep up with them as they don't have the civil registration visible.

There are 11 in flying condition
    5 in UK
    3 in US
    2i n Canada and
    1 in NewZealand

plus 1 in US being repaired after a ground collision and of course 1 with a bent Prop.

Possibly there may be others that have not been reported.

If I can find this info on Wiki perhaps I should become defence corespondant for the Daily Mail:)

WOW....every time I look at this thread.....more hurricanes are turning up.....maybe "Hawker Aircraft Ltd." are still making them after all? LOL

next we'll probually hear that N.Korea have a full squadron in flying conditon!!! ......but of course, that would be the "only surviving hurricane squadron" left :D
