This edition of the guidebook series gets us to the "spiritual heart" of the Nazi's with their Party Day rallies. We start with the Old Town and the hotels where the Nazi big brass would stay for the annual September gathering. We also get the models and plans for the remaking of the city which would have wiped out a lot of the residential and old buildings.

There are some pages about the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials, with the prison used for the Nazi defendants. We also get the story of the Zundapp and MAN, makers of tanks and motorcycles.

There is also some info on Bayreuth and the Richard Wagner house as well as the castle of the Stauffenburg clan. There is also a section on the underground factories for BMW and the V-2 rockets. We finish up with Flossenburg Concentration Camp where Admiral Canaris and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, among others, were executed.

This would be a great guide for getting out there and seeing the sites of this chapter of history.
