Interesting, but who was the third person in the cockpit? Could there be more to this story than just pilot error?

Crew error led to Polish plane crash, Russians conclude - CNN.com

The crew should have decided to divert to another airport in light of "repeated and timely" warnings about bad weather in Smolensk, Russia, the Interstate Aviation Committee concluded.
The presence of a Polish Air Force commander in the cockpit may also have contributed to the crash, the IAC said, noting that he had alcohol in his blood at the time of the crash.

It would be interesting to look at how the crew of Air Force 1 would handle a similar scenario.

" alcohol in his blood". Is this a fact or a rumor? Does anybody have more details about this?

Mr. Kaczynski (late presidents brother) along with Mr. Miller have accused Russia as the main reason for the plane crash. They claim that the dispatcher should have forbidden the plane from landing in such conditions.

What is bizarre but not surprising that this is a contradiction to what an independent inquiry established
