    Iron Cross,
As a new member myself, I thought I would let you know about a very good WW2 strategic simulation game.

Check out Hearts of Iron II

It is by far one of the most entertaining games Ive played concerning grand strategy.

It really gives a unique perspective on WW2 being the supreme commander of a great power.

As a matter of fact, they are coming out with a new upgrade

    Welcome aboard!

I live near St. Helens, a bit north of you. Always glad to see a fellow Oregonian.

    Wow!
Hi everyone! Thank you for the welcomes!
I'm a general civil defense attorney, although trying to get a gig as a prosecutor. If anyone knows a District Attorney in Oregon who is looking for a Deputy, let me know!

Hello and come on in, there's plenty of learnin' going on here. It's good that you picked up an interest on WW2 from video gaming, lots of people do. This here's the place to separate fact from fiction! Do you ski or snowboard?

One more question: I am considering applying for the JAG Corps (probably Army). I'm 31, married, no kids, looking for trial experience, travel, a bit of excitement. Don't mind giving up some civil liberties, as I'm not really using them at the moment. Anyone out there (JAG Officers in particular) who would advise me one way or the other?

We have a couple of member who may answer your question, I'm not sure whether we have active JAG officers however. If you don't mind advice from abroad we have quite a few members from other countries too. I'm thinking of Jaeger (Norway) , Stefan (UK) etc.. Glad to see you have met some of the finest rogues already.
Btw I enjoyed reading the reviews on your blog.

I also have the A&A Anniversary Edition and have really enjoyed the first three games I played with my friends. It's a great upgrade over the original.

I have a buddy in the Army JAG and he is not thrilled with it. Then again he never was interested much in the criminal part of the legal field so I don't know what he was thinking. He said it's basically like being a prosecutor but you are jumping around quite a bit (He has already been stationed in California and is currently in Korea and he has only been in for three and a half years).
