Believe it or not, the US presidential election is not entirely an american issue. It is not indifferent to the rest of the world who is occupying the most powerful political position in the world. In little Norway we have around 20 000 US citizens studying, working in the oil business and the defense industry. The main national TV channel (yes, we still have a state TV channel in 2012!) is monitoring the US election all night, with comments from the above mentioned US citizens, both Democrats and Republicans. Interesting!
That's it. You're getting a turbo wedgie now dude! I'm gonna hang you in your drawers from the coat rack until you say "Romney".
Nooo, it's OBAM ! I'm really sorry Kai, but politics here in the States twists our minds. We're normally normal.
Live will not be a bed of roses for Obama:4 years ago,he won with a difference of 10 million votes, now, the difference is 600000. The first president who is doing less successfully at his reelection .
Not the popular vote that counts but the Electroral. Bush jr. actully lost the popular opinion but won the electoral count and his second term.
Just seems to me that the job has become irrelevant - the important MAN is the Fed Chairman, Bernanke.
Yes, the Republicans will still control the house, which is the only bright spot in the whole sordid affair.
