That can be done! I'll do it when I get a chance. If you look at the Il Duce Reviews thread, and look at the Silent Storm post, you'll notice i've added two videos. I plan to do that for the other Reviews I've posted but might wait until i get some other aspects finished. MTWII is one such Review that I will need to make a video for.

 

North of Scotland and came across one light cruiser Southampton Class and two Auxiliary Cruisers. Closed in, but was spotted, fire off two eels from the stern before diving, missed. Span around and fired off a spread of eels from the bow resulting in two of them slamming into the Light Cruiser, did we celebrate? We indeed did, Stalked the two Auxiliary ships for sometime before getting a chance at the nearest one. Got it with a lucky shot, the silly sod turned into my eel.

 

Not a bad days hunting.

 

I think I might actually get SHIII. Maybe with a bit of practice I might be able to do it.

Not recommended unless you are all busted up with no chance of escape may as well go out in a blaze of blood guts and glory.

 

As I did earlier today, most of my crew were dead, no torps, just enough people to man the engine room and control room. Surfaced and ploughed into the destroyer that hit me. Don't think it achieved much but it made me feel better.

The other day I was being pinged and depth charged to death, there wasn't enough depth to get away but one of the merchants I nailed was stuck with her nose in the sea bed and her stern above water, I managed to sidle in next to her and sat there for 6 hours, the destroyer couldn't get me and I think he thought I'd gone, I managed to slink away under his tail.

Stefan, what version of GWX you using? I only ask as it looks like you got the longer wakes mod there, if so GWX 2.0 will suffer CTD unless your running GWX 1.3 as that mod was made for it then all is well.

 

Sorry guys I done it again, in a convoy attack and this one was bigger.

30th July 1940 11:50am Grid BE 56 Ship sunk! HMS Royal Oak (Revenge class) 31000 tons.

 

I don't think there is a longer wakes mod running, I'm using 2.0 straight from download so I don't think there is anything extra on.

You'll be glad to know that in a spirit of defiance I decided to take a pot at the Hunt II who was after me, somehow hit him with my first torp. Buoyed up by this I decided to have a crack at the Flower, got her as well and so, feeling very smug I strolled back into the convoy, used my last three torps on 3 different ships and took out a few of the others (including a neutral one by accident, this is what happens when you leave your crew alone to gloat). 46000 tons that convoy got me!

Incidentally, have you discovered he shift-F2 trick which allows you to wander around your control room?


I also hadn't realised that your crew grow beards when you have been at sea a while, I was sure they were clean-shaven when I left port.

The SH idea sounds good, will it be both SH3/4?

And CF sounds good as well.
