This short clip is not heady stuff and some may think it not worthwhile but......but it was news to me and if I were still traveling I would visit it. I subscribe to "Messy Nessy Chic" as it contains unordinary often unheard of stuff mostly about France and Paris as seen through the eyes of a curious young woman of today.

    very good
..yes, a lot of murders and killings...a lot of the resisters were caught and killed...a lot of non-resisters were killed....a lot of ''back stabbing''/infighting/etc .....not only in France, but all the occupied countries ..a time when the war unleashed the latent ''evilness'' in all humans

Bronk, I often think of allied pilots trying to make it across France. Often the helping "Resistance" was not so helpful. But the good resistance was incredibly courageous. Tough times, those.

yes---unimaginably tough...we can't even begin to imagine it
.....good call....that reminds of something I read, about the resistance in Italy...supposedly some Italian partisans murdered an American for the money he had ....so, that's what I meant in my previous post = many outlaws/criminals/revenge seekers/etc etc claiming to be Resistance--some were and some were not
