Some great additions again! I like the gasmask, they are in great condition!
Are the razor blades U.S. ?
I have started the restoration of my Luftwaffe lantern and will get its original color back and put glass in it soon. (Jagdpanther44 did you get yours ? )

    The razorblades are US, indeed.

Hi Skipper, I've emailed the seller expressing my interest in the lantern and requesting that they reserve it for me. I'm now awaiting their reply.

The Luftwaffe lantern was still for sale so I went ahead and bought it, as soon as it arrives I'll post some photos.

Hi Gents, great new additions all around. You guys all have stuff that eludes being in my collection. ;-))

Can anybody offer a translation? I think the first word means 'department' ?

Apart from it missing two of its glass panels, which can easily be replaced, the lantern appears to be complete. I'm quite chuffed with it...:)

Hey, a beauty, it's exactly the same as mine, except that yours has a identification stamp on it. It says Dienstelle..... (servcie nummer...) LuftgaupostAmt Brüssel.+ Airforce post office Brussels. I really like it because now I know which sort of glasses I should get.

Thanks Carl, I'm really happy with it as it's not been 'messed' with.

    Skipper, thanks for the translation.

I plan to buy two new pieces of glass to replace the missing ones, then have them sandblasted to give them the frosted effect that the originals have.

If it stems from Brussels it was possibly used at the Melsbroek base.

My latest addition to my growing collection: a complete German gasmask in great condition with markings and extra glasses + original wrapping . It's a 1936 model box and the mask is dated 1944. :)

Nice Luftschutz mask, Skipper. I particularly like the cannister.

    This is my collection...

Wow you got quite a few nice ones too I see! It's only my first one so I'm starting my collection modestly.

    Gentlemen!
Is it possible to change the title of this thread? Everyday in the week I spend a lot of time getting rid of mailoffers to buy Viagra at half price, or bying something else that is supposed to "get you a bigger dick" etc. etc. (Or is it "DIG it is called?")

When I then open the WW2 Forum the next day, I allways go all the way down in order to see if my favourites have written something, and what do I see??

A thread called "SHOWING MY SMALL ..."

What shall I do? Buy those pills in order to get a bigger.... ???

    Best regards
    Mats
