Tanks with flamethrowers in WW2

    Try to find a copy of "Chemical Corps Historical Studies: Number 4: Portable Flame Thrower Operations in WWII" 4-7.1 published in 1950. It outlines the complete use of Flame Throwers in both manportable units and mechanized units by both allied and US forces and enemy forces during the war in all theaters. Complete with illustrations.
    (Its 300+ pages long so I can't post it.)

    A problem the Americans encountered with regard to flamethrower armed M4 tanks--they were not Churchills! The Panzerfauste provided Wehrmacht troops with a lethal, standoff weapon against the flame M4s and knocked out many of them in the West Wall battles. Thereafter tankers removed the flamethrowers and returned to the 75-mm guns as the primary bunker busting weapon.
