Trust my prediction Sniper, 1-1 seems fair for Uk - Algeria, if not, you would have to get a new keeper :D

I dont think the English have announced their starting GK for todays game. Either way, its going to be a 'butter hands' type of goalie, and I still don't like the old men of the English back 4 - and the WAGs have all been told to stay at home since that way they know they won't be sleeping with Terry behind their team mates backs!

Oh boy, Klose sent off for Germany and Serbia up 1 - 0 now! Snipers prediction for that game is impossible now, though Germany could pull off a 2 - 1 win. Lots of yellow cards already - interesting game to say the least.

Just like I warned you all - Germany isn't as good as they appeared to be against Australia (Australia is a crap team, afterall). Serbia could win its last game and still not make it through though - goal differential will play a big part in this group, especially if Australia loses to Ghana, and Ghana lose to Germany (and Serbia beats Australia).

30 mins until the USA game - a must win - and what should hopefully be an exciting game. And then, Algeria/England - another must win.

USA currently losing to the best goal of the tournament so far. If it stays the same, Slovenia definitely qualify from the group.

I missed the goal, wasn't at my desk, but the USA should have scored just now.

Questionable ref's today. Certainly in the Germany game, and that yellow the US just got was mysterious, even on replay.

Oh, 2 - 0 nothing now as I type this.

Thats it for the US me thinks.

I'm not really sure how to predict it to be honest. I don't know a lot about Algeria, and based on their performance in the first game, and the fact England are a much better team, England should walk it. I think 2 or 3 to nil...

However, I thought similar things about Slovenia and they are currently spanking the USA, so who knows. I hope the players don't go into the match with any complacency or it could be very bad news.

Spaniard, I have had enough of you. I clearly stated the use for this thread in my OP and have repeatedly asked you to stop copy/pasting articles into this thread. The OP has every right to tell others what the use of the thread is for - much like a "post funny quotes" or 'post WW2 images' - its called respecting the OP and the topic on hand. If you can't respect the topic-specific rules i've made, take your dribble elsewhere. I am quite sick of you right now.

US certainly pulled out a point where they should have got none, and the Ref - what game was he watching? The US '3rd goal' looked perfectly legit to me. If anything, the Slovenians were holding onto the US players more then the other way around. I failed to see an offsides or any legitimate foul, but apparently he blew the whistle right as the ball was kicked. A little odd to me.

Well don to USA for coming back - unlucky as their 3rd goal was perfectly good.

Having said that, probably a perfect result from Englands point of view

Only if England can pull off a win :)

    Slovenia - 4 pts
    USA - 2 pts
England - 1 pt (game in hand)
Algeria - 0 pt (game in hand)

You fancy the USA to beat Algeria, as will (hopefully) England. If Slovenia draws or beats England in the last game, things get interesting.

    Slovenia - 4 pts
    England - 4 pts
    USA - 2 pts
Algeria - 0 pts (Theoretically after todays game).

England - 7pts (or 5 if draw, 4 if lose)
USA - 5 pts (3 if draw, 2 if lose)
Slovenia - 4 pts (5 if draw, 7 if win)
Algeria - 0 pts (1 if draw, 3 if win)

England, USa, Slovenia could all theortically be tied with 5pts a piece when all is said and done, at which point it comes down to goal differential - so USA and England need to beat up on Algeria to ensure qualification.
