    I can't remember the name of his friend but--I have also heard of a freind of his doing the motorcycle jump. Tho I know he isn't Bruce Lee--i'll say it anyway--Bruce Lee.

    Ah HA--how could I have missed a man with such a standout name? :D Actually--I had thought it had been another actor but--I had forgotten that in the Making of The Greatest Escape--that they did mention this fellow. I still would not have known remembered his name. [​IMG]

    The classic 'old airfield' scene of all time is, of course, at the beginning of 'Twelve O'Clock High' as Dean Jagger revisits the old 'field, and the wind blowing the corn becomes the wash of Wright Cyclone engines.....

    At what location was that famous scene shot ? ;)
