"Defiance". Great story and the fighting scenes were quite good, well worth watching.

Both Defiance and Stalingrad: Dogs..... both are top notch movies.

Just this evening, saw Clint Eastwood as Josey Wales in: The Outlaw Josey Wales-and probably for the 200th time ;-))

I watched an episode of tank overhaul, I had never seen the show before. There was a nice guy from the Isle of Wight and he collects tanks. He was working on a Sherman and welded two halves of the tank using a special jig. He was impressed by the quality of Detroit engineering because of standards and specs the parts were easily interchangeable. Alot obviously had to do with this man's skill as a restorer as well. He really seemed to enjoy his work and carved himself a nice niche in life.:)

Not to mention he gets to have fun with TANKS:D

With nothing better to do and since I still can't sleep after getting home from work at 3 am, I closed my eyes and let my fingers pick a movie to watch. As I am typing this, I am laughing at all the inaccuracies in the Battle of the Bulge. Savalas and Bronson really hammed it up. Fonda was their saving grace.

Saw a few Gary Cooper movies yesterday on TCM as they were celebrating his Birthday. Saw: Meet john Doe-which also had Barbara Stanwyck and Walter Brennan. Then: Sergeant York-again w/ Walter Brennan.

Tonight "Leningrad" with Gabriel Byrne and Mira Sorvino.

Should be a big budget movie but we´ll see if the money was used on the wages...

    Leningrad (2009)

Yesterday and part of today I saw Superman, Superman II, Superman III, and Superman Returns-an AMC. I nvere cared much for the newest installment to the Superman Franchise but I guess its watchable especially since it has Noel Neill in it-at the start. Noel Neill was the original Lois Lane in the Kirk Alyn Superman Serials.

'The Pacific' and being very disappointed in the process. Also been watching some old films about the USS Langley, Sara and Lex. Old films like 'Flight Command', 'Dive Bomber' and the like.
