Watched Fräulein last night. It was better than I expected but overall not that good.

Currently in the middle of SlaughterHouse 5. It's been 10 years since I've read the book and I guess that since I forget the book, I'm enjoying the movie far more than I did in the past. The Dresden scenes seem almost tame.

Just watched for the 1st time, "Decision Before Dawn". An excellent flick about German p.o.w.'s trained by the Americans to infiltrate their former ranks for the allies. Another great performance by Hans Blech, & after checking his IMD profile this appears to be his 1st movie directed by Hollywood. Oskar Werner is the lead character & plays it well i.m.o.. This movie is a hidden gem.

Glad to see another person here who has watched and greatly enjoyed this film.

You got that all correct about this great movie. It finally was released on DvD about a year or two ago, and I bought it ASAP. This is one of my three most favorite movies with Richard Basehart in it (Lt. Rennick) and is my all-time most favorite non-John Wayne movie. Other "notable faces" in this movie include: O.E. Hasse (as the Panzer Colonel who has heart problems) Gary Merrill as the American Colonel and C.O of this intelligence group, Wilfrid Seyffarth as the Waffen SS Motorcycle Courier, Til Kiwi, and a very young Klaus Kinski, as the "whining Soldier."

I never tire of this great film.

Anyway, the other two Basehart favorites include: They Walk By Night and Fixed Bayonets.

The movie (Decision) is very suspenseful & moving at times as well. I'm not one to buy DVD's & grow my library often, but this one i most definately will.

I see ironically Seyferth died from a road accident just a few years after the film. His character was likeable in a Sgt. Schultz kind of way at 1st, then the true facist side came out.

I watched Tali-Ihantala a few days ago. It is a very good movie I must say. I especially liked the scenes where the StuG IIIGs destroyed T34s in it.

Everyone who's into WW2 -which means about everyone here- should watch it.

I watched "Saving Private Ryan" a few days ago. My favorite scene would have to be the P-51 flyover during the bridge scene. I have also been watching Black Hawk Down and I recently watched Bridge to far, and Battle of Britain. Both are great movies.
