I know that there have been times in the past year that I have had less time for hanging out on here - as said by several, "life happens". On the other hand, it is possible that like myself on some days if you look at the who has been on in the past 24 hours you may see the name of a member who stopped by read a little but didn't post, and perhaps some are even amongst the many guests who come by in any given day but didn't bother to log in. I've always regretted that the Forum happened at a point in my life where my memory does not allow me to get into discussions on topics without referring back to source material. I suspect that there are some who feel that unless they encounter a thread or post that connects to their source of expertise that they will stay in the background and not post. There are several who I miss now that they don't write as much, some who have left completely but can still be found at WW2Talk (ie Za), and as formerjughead mentioned others who came and created chaos in their wake and whose absence is a relief. The Forum is not static, it flows in various directions and takes on the flavour of its members at any given time.
