No rush, it was just something I had noticed. Also the white space as well.

Could be useful for a 'list' to be compiled of known-issues and what is being worked on!

You are not alone, it happens on my android phone also. The red alert beacon reappears when I turn my phone sideways and I get a bit wider view. Its something I'm going to work with the skin developer with a few other oddities with the skin.

I do have a list. It is lengthy.

I'll probably be able to post a list, but it's a bit difficult to keep straight or show progress as there are a great many items that are needed on the server which will have no outward indication to members. For example, I am also currently working on another Safe Harbor project which will have a huge impact if we can pull it off. My schedule is very, very slowly freeing up nowadays, so pieces will start moving forward again.

Haven't been logged out in some time and response time seems to be better.

Wanted to format some text. Nothing pops up using the conventional ways but I found this page with some helpful information:

Good to hear the logout issue has improved.

The "More Options" button gives a wider spectrum of options for formatting. Good find on the BB codes lwd, these BB (Bulletin Board) codes are fairly standard acrosd forums, so once you can learn some useful formatting here you can do it elsewhere and vice versa.

Im fiddling with the advert placement, things are 5x5 on browser, screwy on mobile devices, with the same thing at WW2Talk. Expect a bit of odd spacing while I sort things.

Yeah, I noticed that yesterday when on my phone. It stretched into a completely different page, lol. Was unable to upload recent posts.

I did some testing on mobile phone and tablets. The smallest tablet I used was an iPad mini and the adverts seemed to load without issue. The results were ugly on smartphones, so I've removed ads from smartphones until I can do a bit more review of what works. Apologies for the mess while I update things.

Please keep the feedback flowing! With so many people accessing the site from so many different locations and such a disparate number of devices, it's impossible to know what you are all experiencing. I need be aware about what you are seeing on the site to fix any issues.

I noticed no ads on my smartphone. My biggest issue there is no access to Recent Posts. My tablet and computer exhibit no problems. On the whole, I like the new setup. I'm slowly learning its ins and outs. Thanks for the changeover Otto.

yes if one posts something, it doesn't come up on the lists until someone else posts after...

I strongly suggest use of the "quicknav" menu. The "Recent Activity" option is very useful for catching up on forum activity.

There was a "new post" button next to the "recent post" button yesterday. I'd only discovered it a few days ago and was finding it very useful. Now it's gone ...?

Is it just me or ...?

No changes on my end lwd. It does change the menu based upon screen resolution, dimensions, and the device you are using to view the site. In the case of a mobile phone it will edit the menu depending on how you hold it, upright vs on its side.

After months of little or no problems I've been logged out several times this morning already.

I can't say I've seen that message TIRDAD. The site does allow uploads from phones and mobile devices, and I suppose it should allow uploads independent of where on the planet you might be located. I've no idea what setting phones and service providers in your part of the world might allow, and unfortunately I've never heard of that brand of phone before either.

I suspect some sort of network related issues as the problem went away right after I noted it. No changes here either so just the vagaries of the internet.

That's happens to me from time to time. I'm looking at some server settings that will hopefully improve this.
