    Interesting that you brought that up because a guy in my old office used to have cousins in the Mujahedin who fought the Soviets. Sure enough with AK-47s, RPKs, RPDs, RPG-7s, there were 2 even taller chaps in the line of Afghans, one with an MP-40 and the other with a K98, which they displayed in their version of a family portrait. Some of these men went on to become the backbone of Al Queda;)
