It's the clothing I'm impressed with. I can make a fair go at hands and faces but the folds and contours of cloth always give me trouble even if I am going for a straight copy.

    What do I think?
I think that if you post any other drawing of you on this forum, you should 1st start posting grumpy.
(it's a comic Roel and I made... over 30 episodes and 80 pages if I'm not mistaking)

I'll do nothing of the sort! Muahahaha... :D

Instead I will post more scenes from Tais Teng's work, because I like them.

The short version is, the little boy on the left got a bit annoyed with his neighbour who kept lying to everyone and stealing his girlfriends, so he went over to his house in the middle of the night and chopped his neighbour's head off. The warrior on the right is telling him how he did the right thing, because "those who lie do not deserve to live".

    Do you like the drawing?

Reactions so far range from "I love it" to "why is there no bunny in the grass". ;)

    THE WAR RETURNS

The next bit of my THE NAMELESS WAR story has just gone up. The elfwood site seems to be a bit on the blink at the moment but it's coming up enough to read the story.

    http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/libr/e/b/ ... 8.htm.html

I've also produced a glossary of terms. Probably less useful for the residents of this site since most of you probaly know the Rating doesn't necessarily mean a grade.

    http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/libr/e/b/ ... y.htm.html

For anyone wonder what the hell I talking about. Nameless War is a relatively near future piece of Sci Fi start here.

Work should start on the next bit a week or two.

*In fairness he appologised - then carried on moaning. :p :D

I have some wargaming figure I want to paint first. They've been sitting in the box they arrived in for at least six months already.

Ah, well, that is certainly a good excuse. Will we get to see pictures of the completed figures?

Possibly when hell freezes over. :-? I'm not a very fast painter but I want a new DBM army so I need to get back into the painting mood. Unfortunately my chosen army is War of the Roses English which is foot heavy and as such will take a lot of painting.

    Ohhh, nice. :D

I like the 'hard' look in Lewis's eyes - my only fault with all the pictures was that Emily does not seem as old as I had pictured her. But hey. When I can do anything as good as that...

When do we get pictures of the other ships (the carriers, the newer fighters, the scouts, maybe even the Nameless & Aellr vessels...)?

    Nag, nag, nag. ;)

Just take it as compliment that I want more & more of your created Universe...

    No they don't!

Very nice work, Ebar. I like your idea of what a space fleet would look like.

    There is also one more.

    http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/art/e/b/e ... _.jpg.html

In answer to Ricky's question I don't do older faces very often. This was the product of the second attempt. Question of finding a suitable reference.

I will be doing some more ship pictures in the future. Probably battleships, carriers and support ships when the mood takes me. There is a picture of a Nameless ship floating around at home but it ain't any good. As for anyone else we'll see.
