As per the instructions on the pinned post, here is my introduction:

    1. Your Name and Forum Member Name: Whats your name? What would you like to be called? How did you come up with your member-name?
    Hi there, my names f1r3fly.
    2. Age: How long have you been on this planet? How long have you been interested in WWII?
I'm 20, and have been interested in WWII for several years. I don't remember where my interest started, but I believe it came from my father. After years of buying him books not only on WWII but also WWI, he introduced me to Band of Brothers.
    3. Origins: Where are you from?
    I'm from Victoria, Australia.
    4. Historical Interest: What areas of WWII are you interested in? What would you like to know more about? What are your areas of knowledge, and what can you help other with?
I'm very interested in WWII, my interests, as listed above, started with BoB and went on from there. I've watched dozens of WWII movies and television shows and I'm always on the lookout for more, so if you happen to know of any good ones, let me know.
    5. Hobbies: What sort of Hobbies do you have? Are any related to World War II? Wargaming? Video-games? Memorabilia? Visiting historic sites?
My hobbies include relaxing and watching a good movie/television show. I don't think I'd be on this site unless I was as interested in WWII as I am now, haha. I've read countless WWII books, such as the books behind BoB and The Pacific. I'm always looking for something new to watch, whether it be this war or another.
    6. Miscellaneous: Anything else you'd like to share with us?
As mentioned above, I'm always after the next movie, or the next television show or book. If you have anything you think I might like, please let me know.

I was named after my great uncle johnny hence the user name MajorJLCrouch

his P-38 was named FRECKLE and in Feb 45 converted to the P-51 named Lark's Lollapolousa ! I think
